Bundu Drum

The Bundu drum is a wooden cylindrical drum with two skins, one of which is beaten. The drum is laced. It is used in the all-female Bondo Society and therefore only played by women. The method of playing usually appears to be with stick and hand, occasionally with two sticks. The sticks used in playing these drums may be either hooked or plain.
