Wunde Sticks
This bundle of thirty cane sticks, bound with red cotton, is recorded in the British Museum catalogue as being associated with the Wunde society. The Wunde society is an exclusive male society among the Kpa Mende. The collector, John de Hart, wrote an article called The Wunde Society Dance in Sierra Leone Studies, 1920.
