Cloth Sample
A natural cotton cloth sample with tucked vertical strips held in place by raffia stitching. This is done in Preparation for dyeing. The dye will not penetrate the tucked lines, leaving a pattern similar to tie-dyeing. The cloth resulting from his dying method is known as garra .
