Historical wax cylinder recording made by Northcote Whitridge Thomas, a British government anthropologist who conducted field research in Sierra Leone in 1914-15. NWT649 (m on cylinder rim). 1. Announcement: Record 649, Fula, June 26th 1914. 2. Ref tone. 3. Unaccompanied female vocal group with leader. NB: Krio Fula is a dialect of Fuuta Jalon. Reasonable quality recording.
