Female Figure

A female figure, carved of wood. She is standing upright, with her hands resting on her stomach. She has a particular hairstyle with a ridge running from the front of her head, to the back, terminating in a point. As with two other examples from the British Museums collections, this ridge is accompanied by two large disc ears, and wide hips (see BM:Af.1925 -17 and BM:Af.1911-225). This example is also wearing boots.
