Sowei Mask
Guy Massie-Taylor collected a series of carvings representing three stages of carving a Sowei mask from a carver in the Kori Chiefdom. The carver was known as Pessima. This is the final stage, complete with raffia and a metal earring through the right ear. The mask has been dyed black, has two human figures and four elephants adorning the hairstyle.
