Carved Wooden Figure
A carved wooden figure commissioned by Janet Stone, a Peace Corps Volunteer who acted as curator of the Sierra Leone Museum in 1964-65. The figure may represent the ndoli jowei of the Sande Society, with its representation of a raffia costume and bells hanging at the back.
