Historical wax cylinder recording made by Northcote Whitridge Thomas, a British government anthropologist who conducted field research in Sierra Leone in 1914-15. NWT633 (m on cylinder rim; Susu on lid). 1. Announcement: Record 633, Susu, Laminaia, Many 1st 1914. 2. Ref tone. 3. Unaccompanied female vocal group with male leader. Reasonable quality recording.
