Historical wax cylinder recording made by Northcote Whitridge Thomas, a British government anthropologist who conducted field research in Sierra Leone in 1914-15. NWT645. 1. Announcement: Record 644 [sic] Sendugu, June 22nd 1914. 2. Ref tone. 3. Unaccompanied male vocal group with leader. Reasonable quality recording but cylinder cracked.
