Bambada Cap
A Bambada, meaning crocodile mouth, hat, from the north of Sierra Leone, used by peoples such as the Limba or Kuranko. It is made from brown-dyed country cloth with attached leather amulets, or sebe/ sebbeh, and leather tassels. (It is likely to have accompanied the Ronko Shirt from the British Museum, accession number Af.1904.415.20)
