Unknown Mask
A mask, or headdress, made from white and red cotton. It has two horns, covered in red cotton, attached to the top, and is decorated with cowrie shells. It is one of a number of masks that were purchased by the Welcome Foundation from the Stevens auction in 1908. It was acquired by the British Museum in 1954.
