Black and white photographic print showing Samaria Chapel, one of the United Methodist churches in Freetown. It is in the process of being demolished, to make way for a new church building. This photo was taken in 1889. This photo is part of a collection from an album put together by William Vivian in 1889; Vivian was a Missionary with the United Methodist Free Churches, and is likely to have taken the photographs himself. This is an albumen print.
