Fibre Scarf
A finely woven Mandingo scarf made from black palm fibre. It has an open netted diamond pattern with a long fringe. The Brighton Museum and Art Gallery catalogue says that is it from Galinas country, which lies in south-eastern Sierra Leone on the Liberian border.
