Photographic Print
Black and white photographic print showing Alldridge as a member of the Frontier police, which was formed in 1890. He is surrounded my men, two of whom are supporting a hammock with a canopy behind him. Alldridge writes of the advantages of such a canopy being to allow shade whilst jotting down topographical observations and taking compass bearings.
