Minsereh Figure
This has been labelled as a minsereh , or min figure, in the Glasgow Museum catalogue, though the term has broadly been used to refer to any carved full-length female wooden figures. This one is particularly unusual as is has no arms, body or feet. Guy Massie-Taylor noted that figures of this type were associated with the Kuranko Pangbai, or Gbangbe, society.
