Ship's Bell
A cast iron ship's bell. The name of the ship MARY ANN and the date 1804 are cast on the side. A ship with the name Mary Ann is recorded as being in the ownership of Archibald Campbell and Mr McLachlan of Charleston, South Carolina in 1804. The bell was donated to the Museum by Sir Robert de Zouche Hall, Governor of Sierra Leone between 1952-1956.
