Carved Man on a Horse
This is a carving of a warrior, riding a horse. He was originally depicted holding a raised sword, though this has been damaged, along with the head. The figure and the horse have been painted in enamel. The Sierra Leone National Museum records note that is was carved by a blind man in Njala in the late 1950 s.
