Bulle
This is a bulle , buli , or gourd container, used in tapping poyo , or palm wine. Once a hole has been tapped into the palm tree, a bulle is tied below it to catch the liquid. This example was acquired at mile 47 - an area on the outskirts of Freetown famous for poyo .
