Helmet Mask

This mask resembles a Sowei Mask, though is too small to be worn over the head. The Sierra Leone National Museum records note that it is a Gonde Bundu mask ; Gonde masks are, however, more commonly made from old Sowei, or Bundu, masks, rather than specifically carved.
