Female Figure
This unusual wooden female carving is described by the Sierra Leone National Museum as a Dogon figurine from the Niger bend , originating in Mali. The segmented neck may, however, suggest it rather originates from Sierra Leone, or Liberia. It was donated to the museum by a Peace Corps volunteer, based in Sierra Leone.
