Hunting Net
This is a hunting net for catching animals such as deer. It is larger and stronger than a fishing net. It is called a kpebomei in Mende. It was donated to the Sierra Leone National Museum in 1972, having been obtained from Molunga, Gbanbatoke Chiefdom, Moyamba District by Barbara Harrell-Bond, an anthropologist who was then conducting research in Sierra Leone.
