Charm
This item is recorded by thee Sierra Leone National Museum as a Ju-ju Charm . Is consists of a stained cotton bundle containing magical substances, medicines, or herbs. Cotton string has been coiled around it, and a cowrie shell has been sewn on to one side. It is said to have belonged to Karanke Jaila, a leatherworker from Ruare Village, who used it to attract customers to his shop.
