Yangaima Figure
The Sierra Leone National Museum notes that this unusual wooden female figure comes from the Yangaima Secret Society . The figure is standing upright and has a protruding stomach. It has slanted eyes and an open mouth, baring two rows of sharpened teeth, and ears a cotton cap on the head.
