Fula Bow music
Ethnomusicological sound recording made by Cootje van Oven. Four tunes played on an ordinary hunting bow. Measurements: free length of string 22", length of bow 31". The maximum perpendicular distance from string to bow is 4". The photograph shows the method of playing. Fingers of right hand are used for plucking, thumb and index finger of left hand for stopping, and mouth for resonance and harmonies.
